Behavioral Consultant (BC)

The Behavioral Consultant will be responsible for behavioral/educational consultation that may consist of the following: Providing clinical leadership to Clinical Associates, Registered Behavior Technicians, newer BCBA’s, classroom and home instruction/consultation, maintaining crisis certification, 8 hour supervision certificate by BACB, school curriculum development, functional behavior assessment, implementation of behavior intervention plans, data collection, vocational training, implementation of community based instruction, social skills training, preference and reinforcer assessments, functional communication training, parent and school personnel training, training clients on activities of daily living in all settings, report writing, consultation using the remote video system, consulting in schools, development of behavior analytic video content, providing weekly feedback/mentoring on the weekly survey, presentations at clinical meetings, updating skills on the skills matrix, maintaining required BACB CE’s & all requirements for renewal of licensure, adherence to the goals listed within the performance scorecard, transportation of client in the employee’s vehicle (only if urgent), determining the appropriateness and implementation of physical prompts and/or restraints as a last resort as trained and certified through BDA in Safe & Positive Approaches for Preventing & Responding to Crisis Training, obtaining parental consent, ability to maintain the safety of clients through monitoring of self-injurious and eloping behavior, aggression towards other, and property destructions, and all other duties as assigned.

Clinical Associate (CA)

The Clinical Associate will be responsible for behavioral/educational consultation that may consist of the following: classroom and home instruction, functional behavior assessment, implementation of behavior intervention plans, data collection, vocational training, transportation of client, social skills training, communication training, parent and school personnel training, training client on activities of daily living in all settings, community integration, transportation of client in the employee’s vehicle, report writing, and all other duties as assigned.
